College of pharmacy
Pharmaceutical Sciences students have many opportunities for university-wide awards, College of Pharmacy scholarships, and exclusive employment opportunities. Students are encouraged to research everything that is possible!
Undergraduate research will train students in the design, execution, and reporting of scientific studies. Students typically become part of a dynamic research environment and gain experience in both the experimental approach and the culture of a research laboratory.

college of veterinary medicine
The first scholarship to benefit undergraduates enrolled in the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine’s Biomedical Physiology program celebrates the memory of Jonah Elliot Clark, the son of Robert Clark, who serves as Senior Director for Finance and Administration of the College of Veterinary Medicine.
Our Department of Infectious Diseases offers research opportunities for students pursuing bachelor’s degrees at the University of Georgia. Several faculty members within the department mentor undergraduates in their labs through IDIS-prefix undergraduate research courses. Undergraduates may also register for these courses and conduct their research project with a faculty mentor outside the department if the project focuses on a pathogen or infectious disease. These courses may fulfill one or more laboratory or elective course requirements for various undergraduate life science majors.
Our research program includes both basic science to understand the basis of disease and applied science to create a world in which healthy animals and people enhance each other’s lives. The College is committed to improving animal and human health through excellence in veterinary and biomedical research and clinical service. Our programs address public health threats affecting both animals and people, providing translational research approaches that transfer results to clients in a clinical setting. Clinical trials test research discoveries to develop better approaches to prevent, diagnose, and treat our patients.
College of public health
The University of Georgia and the College of Public Health offer a variety of scholarships, awards, fellowships and other types of financial assistance to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in our programs.
CPH is committed to conducting meaningful research through innovative approaches and collaboration across disciplines and sectors, and connecting with the communities we serve in Georgia and around the world.
